The Foundation exists to promote the personal and financial interests of wealthy exiled Kazakhs masquerading as campaigners for democratic reform. Members of the Foundation have a number of common features: luxurious properties, criminal convictions and lavish lifestyles bankrolled by cash stashed in secret offshore properties.
